Another tiny update

Well, you know what I'm like with Winter's Majesty, it takes me a lot of work to actually get anywhere with it. I honestly have worked on it this week, although not all that much. It was our craftwork group on Thursday, so I tend to take something a bit more portable with me for that, and I just don't seem to have had much time for stitching this week, although I don't have a decent excuse for it. However, it's International Hermit and Stitch this weekend, so I'm hoping to actually make a dent into it this weekend.
And on an unrelated note, Gizzimomo has made another gorgeous finish. I'm quite envious of her stitching, so I thought I'd send everyone else there to make you all a little green as well. She's an incredibly fast stitcher (although she does always insist that it's just that she has the time to stitch), so while I'm labouring through this page at the moment, I'm especially jealous!

Don't worry about it stunner! Everyone's journey is different. It's just one stitch at a time. If you want to feel better check my blog in about a weeks time. I'm almost half way getting my stash list together and will post a stash page. I warn you it's not for the faint hearted. It use to really worry me that I won't get even a quarter of it all finished but how I see it, I enjoy every stitch and the end will be reached when it is reached! By the way I love LOVE LOVE QS Clara I resisted buying her in the sale so I'm glad you did. Any start time for her??? LOL

When I am working on a project that won't seem to get anywhere I always say to myself: even putting one stitch in, is always one stitch closer to finishing.

Doesn't matter how much progress you make, Kim. Progress is progress!! Grats to you on yours, and Thea's got ANOTHER finish? Geez, she's like a machine! I've been getting a lot of stitching time lately, so I can't say I'm not on the same path as her, thank God. I finally feel like I'm making some progress.

I'm sure she is a normal speed stitcher, and just the remainder of us (including me) are slow. Regardless of the speed for large projects all you need is patience, and then you'll get there. I have attempted my first big project about 10 years ago. Naturally it was abandoned. It wasn't my time then I guess. Overall casting an eye back my last attempt at cross stitch was no great and a lot of things ended up abandoned. I was just not patient enough then. You're half way through a huge project and there will be a day in the near future when you will be dancing. Good luck!
