His hair is coming along beautifully. I once stitched a Mr. Darcy, however it was the Colin Firth version. I do so love Mr. Darcy!!! (And no, I had a rotten stitching week as well!)
Every little bit is progress! His nice head of hair reminds me of A Paris Kiss that I stitched. The brown goes on forever!
I have come to the conclusion that any progress is good and yours is coming along just fine :-)

Not much to show I'm afraid, I haven't had much time to stitch since posting my IHSW pic. Hope everyone else has had a more successful week!
