Progress of varying degrees

So, Family Values is progressing, little stitches fill in the blanks now, so it's coming together quickly, but at the same time this last bit seems to be taking me ages and I really don't know why that is, so I'm still working on it. However Heroes and Heroines Supersized was released today, so I need to finish that page off so i can start my new project.
In other news I was at the Crafty Kitten stitching retreat this weekend with the lovely Angie from Miamina's Musings, Dawn from Crafty Kitten, Sarah from Paine Free Crafts and Eileen from Thread Pickerz and many other people, but they're the only ones that I can reliably link to. We had a fantastic weekend, but I didn't achieve quite as much stitching as intended due to spending far too much time talking instead but here's what I did achieve. I carefully set her up so that I wouldn't have to count at an point during the weekend, so at least that went well.

That's great progress on Values.

Retreats are always as much about socialising as stitching - that's what makes them so much fun. Sounds like you had a great time.

That retreat sounds like fun! I don't blame you for not stitching much...

Haha, they should call them Chat Retreats! Or maybe Stash Retreats?

Stitching all the outline first is a brilliant idea.

Wicked! I love stitching retreats. You were very wise to set it up so that no counting was required. I found the frozen margueritas a little too yummy
and the conversation a little too tantalising to get much completed. So you have done well my friend.

The retreat was so much fun! It was lovely to meet so many great people, yourself included! The chatting and social side was great, as was getting to see other people's stitching, fabric, thread etc in real life. they always look so much better than the pictures!

Your WIP's look amazing and I can't wait to see your start of SS Heroes and Heroines! There are a few "Must Start's" coming along for me too! gorgeous stitching, as always xx
