Internation Hermit & Stitch and Parking

I've made another attempt at parking, and I'm actually getting along with it a lot better this time... and I've created the beginning of some small mushrooms (it's not a very good picture, but they're there, honest!).
I didn't get as much done this weekend as I was hoping to, but I've achieved a row and a black smush, so that's not bad!
Hope everyone else had a good Hermit and Stitch, I'm off to  check out everyone elses stitching!

It looks good! I admire your parking; when I tried, I made a big tangled mess. I'm trying out a needle-holder-thingie now, it's working much better for me... but I wish the parking had worked!

One row is worth celebrating on an HAED - progress is progress! Winter's Majesty is coming along nicely too.

I haven't tried parking my thread yet. Maybe one day I will be brave enough. :)

I tried parking and got frustrated, but I am envious you got it to work out for you. Congrats on finishing another row on your page! Looking good!

The more of HAEDs I see, the more I'm convinced that getting a single stitch is a huge accomplishment! I haven't attempted parking yet but I haven't stitched anything quite so big and detailed either!

I'm really happy that you're getting the hand on parking :) You'll see that it will be easier and easier :)
And if the mushrooms are those redish blobs then I can see them too :) Congratulations on your progress :)

Wow, that looks quite fancy, and the mushrooms are visible to me! It's such an elaborate project that it must be interesting to stitch!
