Here's my progress or International Hermit & Stitch Weekend, and I'm quite proud of my progress, even if I do say so myself, there's a definite difference between Saturday morning and Sunday evening, it's not quite the page finish I was aiming for, but it's close enough.
And I should probably explain by the way, it's a new technique to me, but it's something that half of you, if not more, are already using. I thought I'd give parking a go and see how I get on with it. I can see the logic or it, but at the moment I'm getting a little confused with all the different threads. I'll keep it up for the rest of the page, and for one of my next page starts and see how I go from there.
I think I've managed to comment on most of the progress pictures that have gone up so far, but if I've missed anyone I apologise.

It looks beautiful!!!
Hugs Yvon.
Looks lovely! Parking only works for me if I use only a few colors at a time and those colors have to be quite different from each other. Otherwise, it's mixed-up city!
Wow, I can't believe how detailed the tree in this image is! Good luck continuing with it- it should be so cool in the end!
Oh, I'll say.... you've gotten a whole lot done, Kim! It looks fabulous!
Just the thought of parking gives me hives.... LOL!!!! All those threads sitting around and confusing me.... :D

Wow.. your really making a huge progress on your WIP, the castle it's totally visible now, instead of being just the roof. I'm really enjoying following your progress on this one :)

Wow...great progress....it looks beautiful!
Wow, you have done a lot!
I play with parking every now and then. I find it helpful sometimes to get me through rough spot, but I am still a cross country girl. But isn't it nice to try out new techniques to see if they suit you?
verry nics, i love it

It's looking great!!! Loving the castle part. And boy, you got a lot done!!
It's looking amazing!!
This is an amazing piece!
I'm fairly new to parking. Started trying it out in January I think - have fallen in love with the way my stitching looks when I park. I use it on almost everything I stitch now - 'cept on things like Sweetheart Tree Samplers which are so open :)
The more you practise the easier it becomes but if you don't enjoy it, don't do it! This is meant to be an activity we enjoy, do it in whatever way brings you the most pleasure.
Looks wonderfull allready, I tried parking, but it's not really my cup of tea.
It looks great - I haven't tried parking yet, and don't know if I will. I'm confused enough!
Wow awesome progress there speedy gonzales! I would be proud too if I had achieved that much.
As for parking, I love it. I found a tutorial on a blog www.thecraftywriter.co.uk and it's helped me immensely get through the traffic on heavy confetti spots. But it's not for everyone, but I'm glad you're giving it a decent try before you decide whether it's for you or not. Good luck you're going fantastic on this chart. xo
It looks great Kim, I love the twisty trunk.
